Hayley supporting a client resting with headphones during a breathwork session

Private 1:1 9D breathwork

Work with me one-to-one at my Port Kembla studio, near Wollongong. We’ll talk about what brings you here, practise the breathing together and make time to reflect after your 9D session.

The space to focus on your experience

You may be interested in breathwork but reluctant to join a room full of people. Perhaps you want to ask questions as you learn, or talk privately about stress, feeling overwhelmed or a change in your life. A one-to-one appointment gives us time to begin with that conversation.

I’m Hayley, a Certified 9D Breathwork Facilitator and Master NLP Practitioner. In a private session, I work with you throughout the practice. We can talk through what you notice, check how the breathing feels and agree on adjustments without having to follow a group’s pace.

Meet me and read about my approach

A starting point we agree on

Before the audio begins, we discuss what you would like support with and what feels manageable that day. You can ask questions without needing to explain your whole history.

Guidance as you practise

I explain and demonstrate the breathing so you have something clear to follow. We agree how you can ask for support or pause while wearing the headphones.

Privacy for your response

Whether you feel emotional, find it difficult to concentrate or simply want quiet, there is room for that. You don’t need to produce a particular response for the session to count.

What happens in a private breathwork session

9D combines a guided breathing practice with music and spoken guidance through headphones. I’m there with you, while the audio gives you a breathing cue and a focus to return to when your attention wanders.

  1. We begin with a conversation

I ask about your experience with breathwork, what has brought you in and anything that could affect how you take part. We talk through the proposed session and practise the breathing before you put on the headphones.

  2. Slower breathing comes first

While you lie on a mat, I begin with slow nasal breathing and give you time to notice the pace. Any change in breathing style is something we discuss according to your needs and suitability; intensity is not the goal of every appointment.

  3. Time to settle afterwards

After the audio finishes, there is time to rest before getting up. We can talk about what you noticed and any questions that came up, or leave space for quiet if you would rather not speak.

Questions about private 1:1 breathwork

How is private breathwork different from a group event?

In a private appointment, it is just you and me. We have time to discuss what brings you in, practise the breathing and adjust the pace around your response. A group event brings several people together around the event’s theme and schedule. The 9D audio is part of both formats; the main difference is the individual attention and privacy.

Can I try a private session as a beginner?

Yes, you can enquire if you have never tried breathwork. I’ll explain the format, ask about anything that may affect how you take part and help you practise the breathing before the audio starts. You can ask questions or request a pause throughout the appointment.

How much does a private session cost and how long is it?

I confirm the duration and price directly when we discuss your appointment. Include your preferred days and times in your enquiry so I can check availability and explain the proposed session before you book.

Do I have to talk about personal experiences?

You can tell me as much or as little about your personal story as you feel comfortable sharing. I do need to ask questions about suitability and how I can support you during the breathing. Afterwards, there is no requirement to explain everything you felt.

Does a private session have to involve intense breathing?

No. I start with slower nasal breathing. We discuss the breathing approach in relation to your needs and suitability, and agree how you can ask for support or pause. A private appointment gives us time to work at a pace we agree together.

Is a private session the same as one of your programs?

A private session is an individual appointment with me. You Are Not Broken brings together four private sessions over four weeks, while Beyond Survival is an eight-week private program with three practitioners. You can start with a conversation about one appointment without deciding on a longer program.

Where do private sessions take place?

My studio is at 43 Wentworth Street, Port Kembla NSW 2505, serving Wollongong and the wider Illawarra. Private appointments are arranged directly with me. Let me know about any access needs or questions when you enquire so we can discuss them before your visit.
